We are very glad to announce that our Farsi Corona Information Resource page went online today. We want to thank the Iranian friends who helped us to make this possible. Corona virus is spreading in the Middle East and Europe, therefore it is time to act now. We collected health information and will update this page on a daily base and soon start producing videos and podcasts from refugees for refugees.
This project is embedded in a larger network of organizations and media from the Middle East who are working on the same topic. Soon our Arabic/English/French page will be up too.

“Refugee Corona Information Resource is an international collaborative network providing pertinent information about corona virus, for refugees living in Greece. In a moment of global chaos, Refugee-CIR is dedicated to being a calm, reliable and accurate resource, providing information on corona virus awareness, symptoms, statistics, prevention, and treatment, as well as general news surrounding the topic. Information is accessible in English, Farsi, French and Arabic, and is sourced through our collaborative network linking to the refugee’s countries of origins. Working with doctors and other industry professionals in the refugee’s countries of origins, through our network at Corona Information Service, allows Refugee-CIR to provide crucial information to refugees living in Greece in their first language with great accuracy of information transfer.
In partnership with Greek NGO, Stand By Me Lesvos, we are able to reach refugees directly and with a greater understanding of the conditions they currently face.
As has been prominently shown over the past several weeks and months, corona virus does not discriminate. Everyone is at risk of contracting this virus and thus, it is our responsibility to one another to be informed, protect ourselves, and to assist others so that they can also be informed to make decisions to protect themselves as well. Refugee-CIR provides this information to refugees in Greece so that they may protect themselves and their neighbor. “

Refugee Corona Information Resource est un réseau collaboratif international qui offre des informations pertinentes sur le coronavirus aux réfugiés qui vivent en Grèce. Dans une période d’incertitudes globales, Refugee-CIR est déterminé à être une source fiable et précise, offrant des informations sur les symptômes, des statistiques, la prévention et les traitements possibles du coronavirus, ainsi que des informations générales sur le sujet.
Des informations sont disponibles en anglais, farsi, français et en arabe, provenant de notre réseau collaboratif mettant en relation les pays d’origine des réfugiés. Travailler avec des docteurs et autres professionnels dans les pays d’origine des réfugiés, à travers notre réseau Corona Information Service, permet à Refugee-CIR d’offrir des informations cruciales aux réfugiés vivant en Grèce, dans leur langue maternelle et avec un transfert d’information précis. En collaboration avec une ONG grecque, Stand by Me Lesvos, nous sommes en position idéale pour atteindre des réfugiés directement avec une meilleure connaissance des conditions auxquelles ils sont exposés.
Comme les dernières semaines et derniers mois l’ont prouvé, le coronavirus ne fait aucune distinction entre individus. Quiconque court le risque de contracter le virus, et c’est donc notre responsabilité réciproque de rester informés, de se protéger, et d’assister d’autres pour qu’ils bénéficient de suffisamment d’informations pour se protéger eux-mêmes également. Dans cette optique, Refugee-CIR offre des informations aux réfugiés en Grèce pour qu’ils puissent se protéger ainsi que leurs voisins.
